Two weekends ago we took a little family trip to New Orleans. We visited the Audubon Aquarium and had a great time. Then, we checked out the big Mississippi River and had lunch in the French Quarter. What a fun trip!
Addison just loved this neat "peek a boo" aquarium.

There was a tunnel aquarium with big, beautiful fish. There were sharks and rays and........
...................scary scuba divers. Addison was scared to death of the scuba divers in there. Can you see him in the right corner? They kept waving at her but she would NOT make eye contact with them. I have never seen her sooooo scared.

This past weekend we headed to Natchez, Mississippi. We checked out the big, beautiful historical homes there. This was the Stanton home. We went on a tour and it was amazing.

Two weekends ago we headed to Gulf Shores. This was the first time Addison has been to the beach since she's been walking. She had a blast playing in the sand and picking up shells. She was a bit frightened by the water. She definitely kept her distance for awhile.
Addison played dress up. She had one of my shirts on and this old fashioned hat. She looked adorable. I had to share.
Addison is addicted to these nasty smelling meatsticks. I think she would be happy if she could eat them for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
